I was busy finishing up the bonus allotment for my team in line with our midyear performance review and a chat window appeared. It was my former boss asking how am I doing. We had the usual hi and hellos and catch up a little bit. We talked about the technicians I previously handled in the escalations queue and we talked about his career plans. Before we ended our conversation, my former boss told me that he finds solace in looking at my pictures because of my smile. How heartwarming could that be? So heartwarming...To think that he is one of the bosses whom I have high respect and admiration for.
I wish him the best in all of his endeavors and I hope to see him again soon.
