Speaking of back to school, on the 20th the winning Culture committee at work decided to have all managers come to work dressed in back to school outfit. Should I come in a Gossip Girl outfit like Serena van der Woodsen or Blair Waldorf? Hmmmm, I have to get me some short plaid skirts and a little black eeeer pink tie and raid my closet for my black tights. Sure, this will be fun. This is the perfect excuse for playing dress up at work. The last time I went to work in a not-so-common ensemble was during the Halloween Party. Pretty long ago aint it?
____________________________________Oh yeah, I have finally showed up for my appointment at PLDT for the telephone line installation and DSL applciation. I am hoping that my saga to find me a decent internet connection is over. Globelines have conflicting explanations, it differs from the customer service rep to the supervisors to the managers down to the installers. People, you better keep your act together. Skycable went to my apartment, tried to install the cable connection but turned out they don't have cable internet encryption in the area yet? I could not understand. I am right smack in the middle of Makati City, the Central Business District. And so, PLDT is it. After waiting for more than a month for my application to be processed. And like what they told me yesterday, I only have to wait for 3-5 days more for the landline installation, wait for a dial tone, call their office and the DSL line will then be activated. Good grievance! These all I had to do to get my laptop connected to the internet and be freed from the oh-so slow connection using my mobile phone (Sony Ericcson P1i). Again, fingers crossed.
