Tomorrow, Saturday at 8:30PM, I will be proudly supporting Earth Hour 2009. This I'll do for myself, my family, my real friends, and my future family,most especially for the future of my little ones. I want them to still get a chance to see the beauty of the Earth that I am living in right now.
I have been an earth advocate since I was in high school. Being the President of Save Mother Earth Movement (SMEM) has led me to understand and appreciate caring for the place I live in. Being aware of the environmental changes that are happening all over the planet should be enough to jolt us and take us back to reality, that nothing is permanent and the Earth's resources can be depleted and we will all be left with nothing if we don't do our own little share.
So, tomorrow at 8:30PM, I will turn my lights off, turn my laptop off, turn my cellphones off and for an hour I will be in he darkness...a darkness filled with hope.
