I happen to pass by a blog maintained by Posh Pinay while blog walking and was delighted to know that she has an ongoing contest. She wants to see a picture of the contents of any one's bag and she will add an item in it: a fabulous SMASHBOX instant eyes shadow & liner palette (well, to the winner at least). What's a girl to do? I'm joining...
I'm the kind of girl who can't leave the house without a bag in her arms/shoulders/back/wherever. What do you know? If you carry my bag, you'd think I brought the whole house (exaggeration) with me. But yeah, it is heavy, what with all the stuff in it. And here's my bag contents...(first time that I will ever expose my bag in all it's glory.
As you can see, I have a lot of stuff inside my brown Coach bag, so much stuff so to speak. The picture speaks for itself but maybe it will be better for me to list down all the necessities and junk I have inside it. A blue Fibrella folding umbrella, toothbrush in a pink case, toothpaste for sensitive teeth, Bench Alcogel (Kiwi), Lancome Miracle Body lotion, business cards inside its clear case, office and school IDs, giant powder puff, black wallet, eyelash curler, liquid eyeliner, tweezers (yes, I have it!), 3 eye color palettes, mineral powder foundation, kabuki brush, tan blush, perfume, lipstick, lip gloss, pens, eyeliner, camera, cellphones, hair barrette, keys, big shades, my little Princess tiara (it's a picker upper when I feel princessy), and yes a mini sewing kit for emergency purposes (read:wardrobe malfunctions). They all fit inside perfectly ladies and gentlemen...
If you ask me why I carry so much stuff inside my bag, I'll just give you a quick answer: "You'll never know when you might need one". What's cool is that no matter how much stuff I have, I still know where to find them when I need them. I find solace in organizing them inside my bag. Anything lighter than I'm used to and I feel like I left some essentials. I know, I know, I could never ever give any justifiable excuse why I need 5 shades of lipstick or 4 pens or 2 eyeliners or even the need to have three cellphones (I have 5 actually, I just don't use the two as often so I decided to keep them in their boxes).
I know I am not the only girl with this many junk in her bag. Well, I guess I'm normal after all. Any one else like me, head on over to Posh Pinay's blog and spill your bag secrets too. Sshhh, don't tell anyone about my secrets...
