NOTE: This was supposed to be posted last night but the wifi signal wasn't reliable and I guess blogger had some issues too so this will be a late post. Enjoy anyway...
We arrived here in Dos Palmas last Saturday a little after 6PM. We immediately took advantage of what the sunset has to offer and strolled along the shore as we look for the hammock. The hammock holds a very significant reason of our meeting and getting to know each other. A little story about it will be written and posted in this blog soon after. Anyway, so after the walk on the shore, we had dinner and finally settled in our room as we watched a movie to help us doze off.
We woke up to a very good, warm, breezy morning and we decided to take a dip in the pool and then at the beach and then back at the pool again. Ah, what good life has to offer. We spent the whole day swimming, playing, horsing around the pool and of course enjoying the sumptuous meals. Happy people, happy tummy. We were supposed to join the lunch picnic in the other island but decided not to and opted to just stay and enjoy the weather in the island. While having dinner, heavy rains fell and we have my umbrella to thank for.
We slept a little too early tonight after watching another movie. We didn't even finish it. We woke up to a heavier than usual rain and when it subsided a bit, we decided to go to the restaurant for breakfast. And even it was drizzling we decided to swim in the pool again and cancelled the picnic yet again as we thought it was not a good idea to leave the island with this kind of weather. After lunch, I taught him how to play "sungka" and he got interested in the game that we played a few rounds. When we got tired of playing, we decided to bike around the island. We practically toured all the nook and cranny of the island including the spa. Spa time on Wednesday and I could not wait. He did a few laps in the lap pool and then we cycled around again before we decided to shower and get ready for dinner. We got to the restaurant a little too early so we decided to play some more "sungka". He beat me! LOL! So, to save myself from humiliation, I asked him if we could play billiards instead. He agreed. It was a good game.
Now, its dinner time... I'll update everyone again tomorrow...
