I am in the mood to camwhore again so I thought I'd use the make-up palette I bought yesterday and then try to put on a falsie without anyone's help. This is all I can do when the world outside is being rained on and I only have the TV and the camera to entertain me. I may be bordering narcissism but well this is my blog anyway so I hope the least I could is to entertain you a bit with my novice ways of working on the crayons of beauty...
Here are the pictures (now this is slowly becoming a photoblog):

Yes, the falsies have some clear rhinestones. Neat huh? (They are heavy though...)

Here's a close-up look of my eyes. Took some time blending orange and yellow and blue and gray and silver shades here. But I think it was all worth the time spent in front of the mirror.

I used my favorite moisturizer to prep my face and then dab on The Face Shop Duo Concealer (NB25) on some blemishes and then The Face Shop Phytogenic Foundation (B31 Oak Beige) to even out the skintone. I applied the foundation using a wet sponge. I find it easier to blend it all over my face. And then I dusted Maybelline Clear Smooth Mineral Powder Foundation to finish the base. I used five colors from the palette I bought yesterday for the eyelids (orange, yellow, blue, gray, and silver). I then applied 2 coats of Estee Lauder Magnascopic Maximum Volume Mascara to my lashes. The hardest bit was to actually put on the falsies... Ah vanity!

I used three shades of blush for my cheeks (brown, pink, and tan).

The lip color came from two colors combined: Golden Brandy and Hug by a local brand I bought from a drugstore. Gotta love em...

I just ran my fingers through my hair to give me the bedhead look I am trying to achieve. Was it a success?
