Work and Friends and Shopping

My weekend is spent on Tuesdays and Wednesdays as such are my rest days from work. Weird eh? I'm used to shifting my schedule, switch my body clock to different timezones and schedules every two months. And yes, I have been doing this for the last 5 years of my life ever since I decided to join the outsource business. I have been flexible to different shifts as called for by business needs. And this month, I work 9:30PM-6:30PM Tue and Wed off. Any perks on that shift? Well, it is when the bulk of calls come in and it is when I get a 20% night differential on top of my basic salary and allowances. I guess I don't have any reason to complain about, do I?

Since we girls can't go on night outs as bonding moments, we find other ways to get together and catch up with each other's lives. Last Saturday, I woke up a little earlier than usual and met Olive for dinner (technically my breakfast) at the Mall of Asia. We then tried to find a yellow dress and gold shoes for her and I scouted for some make-up primers. Instead of getting a full-sized primer, I got me the Smashbox Master's Class. After shopping, I went straight to work (my office is in a mall). Since, I was early for my shift, I arranged my desk and read on the hundreds of work-related emails that I receive everyday. Tasky!

Yesterday, I and Jonah decided to have lunch in a place other than MOA so we decided to go to Greenbelt 5 (it's the newest upscale mall in town) but since we got out of work early we decided to do some other stuff before heading to G5. We went to my gym to pick up some loyalty coupons. I think they gave it to me because I have been paying the monthly due but never really go there for more than once a week. LOL! I'm slacking bigtime. I'd rather do my little workouts at home. So the coupons I got entitles me to bring one friend every weekend to workout with me for free (anyone interested let me know). We then went to Lay Bare for some underarm and eyebrow threading. After the waxing session, we went to G5 and head straight to Lancome to get some make-up remover because I already ran out. I picked up the Bi-Facil because of the great raves about it. After walking around G5, we decided to have lunch in a Chinese restaurant and stuffed ourselves silly with dumplings and noodles. Before heading home, we dropped by a Japanese specialty store to buy some vanity mirrors and medicine case.

We went home and I organized my make-up case and went to bed. I woke up after twelve long hours. Bliss! Oh how I love rest days!

Here's another barely there look at work...
