Dell and OPI Forged Forces

Dell announced a unique relationship on October 7 that resonates with most of it's female employees. Dell is partnering with OPI, the world’s No. 1 maker of high-fashion nail lacquer. Starting next month, you will be able to personalize your Dell laptop or Inspiron Mini with one of 20 OPI classic colors, like “I’m Not a Waitress” and “Princesses Rule!” plus six Holiday Collection colors like “Dear Santa.” Dell has posted a few sample images in the Dell Flicker account, and the full collection will be revealed next month.

The company is partnered up with “renowned nail lacquer experts” OPI (which has a storied history in predicting fashionable colors for upcoming seasons, according to those in the know), and that means there’ll be 26 new colors and patterns in the Dell Design Studio for you to pick from the next time you buy one of Dell’s various adequate laptops. Colors will include 20 “classics” like “I’m Not Really a Waitress” (pictured), as well as some seasonal shades like “Dear Santa,” “Merry Midnight” and “Smitten with Mitten.”

The OPI color options for Dell Mini, Inspiron and Studio laptops will be available in the Dell Design Studio at Dell.com first in the U.S. and later in other countries. Select OPI colors also will be available at many retailers.
