The Starbucks Planner 2010 will be officially released by Starbucks Coffee Philippines today, November 4, 2009! It is a beautifully-crafted hardbound journal-type planner complete with discount coupons that were eliminated from the previous issues and looks like the 2006 planner (is y'all can still remember). It also has a note pocket at the back which is very reminiscent of a college ruled notebook. There are also some pictures of Starbucks' most loyal customers. Check it out, you may be one of them.
"Our Coffee Heritage" is the theme of the limited edition Starbucks Planner. It also has this unique bookmark with a dangling coffee bean which is the most unique feature of the planner. This is by far a noticeable difference compared to its predecessors. These Starbucks Planners 2010 Edition can only be claimed at any Starbucks store in the Philippines. And one good news: a combination of up to two (2) promo cards will be allowed, provided that the nine (9) featured plus 8 core drinks have been purchased.
The first design features the "Bean" in its raw form, followed by the second design showing coffee beans being roasted aptly called "Roast" stage, and finally third design features the "Brew" where it showcases a cup of joe ready for consumption. How ingenious is that idea. It thus made me think that Starbucks Planner collectors will to say the least collect at least one of each design. Pretty good marketing strategy if I may conclude.
To avail of the Starbucks Planner 2010, any Starbucks customer in the Philippines can avail of a Starbucks Christmas traditions planner promo card from November 4, 2009 to January 6, 2010. One sticker is stamped for each Starbucks beverage you savor and enjoy (in whatever size). A WISH cardholder must accumulate a total of seventeen (17) stickers (nine (9) Christmas beverage plus eight (8) core beverages (except bottled drinks) to redeem one (1) Limited Edition Starbucks Coffee 2010 Planner. And oh, this is the first year that Starbucks is offering Dark Cherry Mocha as one of the Christmas drinks. I'd prolly just load up on my favorites Toffee Nut Latte and Peppermint Mocha.
First 150 customers on Nov.4 in each Philippine branch nationwide gets the special cards with 1 free sticker mark (meaning 1 less sticker to accumulate) so instead of accumulating 17 stickers, you only need to collect 16 stickers and of course finish 16 drinks. QUICK TIP: If you plan to collect one of each design, go ahead and order three drinks so you could get 3 free stickers too. LOL! It ain't rocket science even...

A discount coupon comes with your Starbucks Planner. This is one of the features that has been removed from the previous releases.
From February 1 to 13 - Add an extra shot of espresso to your favorite Starbucks beverage. (Nice eh!)
From April 16 to 30 - Additional 10% discount for a Starbucks Coffee Tumbler (any coffee tumbler)
From May 1 to 31 - Buy 1 take 1 on any Frappe blended beverage
From June 1 to 30 - Get a tall handcrafted beverage if you buy a bag of Starbucks Kape Vinta blend or a Philippine Collector Series merchandise (mug, tumbler or Bearista Bear)

From September 1 to 30 - Get a 50 grams complimentary bag of whole bean coffee when you purchase any 250-gram bag of whole bean coffee or a Coffee Press

P.S. To DigitalManila: My sincerest apologies. I forgot to input the credits. Nonetheless, changes have been made...Rest assured that this will not happen again. Thank you.

I am not liking the 2010 planner. Lacks that oomph unlike the previous year's planners. (2007 and below)
