I participated in the 2009 Timex Run this morning and I was able to finish my first ever race. I raced with Uncle Don (he ran as a bandit on his first race LOL). He was supposed to just take pictures but I was able to convince him to run with me. Anyway, I will write about the race and this little unforgettable experience that happened in my other BLOG. I don't have the official time of my run yet but I am happy to say that for sure I didn't go over an hour (my worst fear) and I didn't trip or fall too.
I woke up around 330AM and did a little stretching while preparing my breakfast of Nestle Fitnesse Low Fat Whole Grain Cereal, a granny smith apple, a hard-boiled egg and a cup of coffee. I then took a bath and thought about just going bare-faced with just some powder on. But I shun that thought. I decided to at least put on just a wee bit of VMV Armada Face Cover 45 Full Spectrum. According to VMV's website:
Armada Skin Lightening, Full-Spectrum, Indoor-Outdoor Sun and Light Screen: Face Cover 45 is the most comprehensive protection, with some of the highest protection factors ever against the full spectrum of skin-harming light: indoor and outdoor UVA, UVB, Infrared and Visible Light. Truly impressive power in a weightless, anti-oxidant créme that works for your skin's perfection. Banishes wrinkles, fine lines and other signs of photo-ageing. When used everyday, indoors and out, Armada also helps erase melasma. Protection so strong, skin lightens naturally. Arms your skin with renewed elasticity and vibrancy. Your flawless, timeless skin starts here.
Active Ingredients: Phenylbenzimidazole Sulfonic Acid, Zinc Oxide, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane , Titanium Dioxide .
Other Ingredients: Water, Cyclopentasiloxane, Triethanolamine, PEG-10 Dimethicone, PVP Hexadecene Copolymer, Dimethicone/Methicone Copolymer, Glyceryl Laurate, Tetrasodium EDTA, Aluminum Hydroxide, Tocopheryl Acetate, Citric Acid, Zirconium Dioxide.
I also brushed just a little kohl eyeshadow over my brows and didn't put on any shadow this time. I used Monave Concealer Foundation - Mirabella and MAC Sheer Loose Powder NC30 to seal the sunscreen. Yes, I wore sunscreen because I had this inkling that I'd stay longer in the venue than I had planned to. I then swept some Mark blush on my cheeks (barely noticeable) and finished everything off with Smashbox Quench Moisture Rich Lip Gloss.

Glad to know that you used sunscreen! :) I was bad and didn't use any so I suffered from sunburn :P
