Got Zoya?8:24 PM
Harlow, Savita, Ivanka, Mimi
I do... :-)
I just got four colors to add to my ever growing nail polish collection. I got two matte colors from the Matte Velvet Fall Nail Polish Collection (Savita and Harlow) and two colors from the Sparkle Collection (Mimi and Ivanka). It is not a secret anymore that Zoya Nail Polishes are free of toluene, camphor, formaldehyde, and dibutyl phthalate (DBP) - these are the chemicals that are known to cause cancer and birth defects. Now, that's one thing that makes Zoya unique compared to other brands out in the market. And you just gotta love the color selection.
As recommended, the matte colors are not intended to be worn with a base coat, top coat or speed/quick dryer of any kind. And yeah, it is not long-wearing too (bummer!), then again, the speed of application and the time to dry compensates...a lot! One secret I follow for easy-peasy application is that I buff the nails first to make sure that the surface is clean, dry and even. I also love the sparkles but it was quite a chore to remove them. I use the TFS Nail Polish Remover and I needed to use six cotton balls to remove all the polishes applied to my nails. If anyone of you knows what is the best remover to use to remove the sparkles, let me know...
I am so happy to be able to add more and more colors to my collection every month. I have ordered a few more bottles and they will arrive in the next couple of weeks. I am super excited. Once again, I have to thank the Organic Rituals Spa for making Zoya polishes available here in the Philippines.
Head on over to their Facebook Page to like their recent wall post. If there will be 100 likes then they will open on Sundays. This is good news especially to those who have to work from Monday to Saturday. I like! Organic Rituals Spa has a Multiply site and a Twitter account. You can visit them at the Mezzanine Floor, Atlanta Centre, 31 Annapolis St., Greenhills, San Juan. The spa is open Monday to Saturday, 11AM to 9PM and by appointment on Sundays.
