If The Dress Fits...

2:20 PM

I haven't been buying dresses lately as much as I used to before I gained a few extra pounds because I hate it when I have to ask for a dress that's a size or two bigger than what I assume I could fit in to. So, when medium was a little loose, I asked for small and I shrieked for joy inside the fitting room when it fit me snugly...

Here's a picture of the little black dress I fell in love with...

I have been wanting to have this kind of dress since I saw Denise Richards wear it for the New Year's Eve celebration at Privé Nightclub in Las Vegas. I know I am too late but yeah in my books it is always better late than never. If only I had the money (not to mention the body to wear it) then I could have owned one years back. Oh yeah, of course mine is just the copycat version...

The dress looks like this when worn...

Yes, it is Hervé Léger-inspired. Hervé Léger was a huge fashion hit in the '80s and pioneered the body-con look, which has returned to the fashion spotlight in recent seasons. The label was relaunched in 2007 with BCBG designer Max Azria at the helm. His designs are a modern interpretation of the signature bandage dress and have already earned a host of stylish celebrity fans including Kate Bosworth and Keira Knightley.
