Thank God it's weekend once again! And it's going to be a super weekend I bet...

I am always super excited about the weekends because it's the only time I get to bond with my friend, Eddene. We both work in the call center industry with different shifts, different accounts, different roles and take different routes not to mention different rest days. I do have a very flexible schedule but it's only on weekends that we get to enjoy food, coffee, conversations and people-watch together.

Our communication is based solely on BBM and SMS (thank God for Globe's BB Social Plan). We sometimes call each other too. BB Social is the cheapest BlackBerry plan for Globe Postpaid and Prepaid subscribers. BB Social allows subscribers to enjoy unlimited Social Networking, BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) and Instant Messaging for only P300 for 30 days. Our Blackberry phones are our bridge when we couldn't find time to chat and share secrets with each other. This is our lifesaver for sure! This is what gets us through over the weekdays.

Did I mention we live in the same house, just different rooms? Rarely do we have time to talk at home after work because we are just so tired that all we could think of is sleep and if we ever find each other awake, we just say our normal hi's and hello's and retreat to bed again.

We frequent San Miguel By The Bay at the SM Mall of Asia for the fireworks, any Starbucks store for coffee, Bonifacio High Street for outdoor shopping, Greenbelt 5 if we want to ogle dresses/bags/shoes we could only wish we have the money for, Greenbelt 3 for movies, Serendra and Ayala Triangle for food and people-watching, Fort Bonifacio for long walks and conversations, among others. 

Super weekends are spent with super friends who give you super fabulous and super fun times. Laughters are really best when shared with friends, it's more hearty, more sincere, more genuine. It is also on weekends that we get to go to church together. Me and Eddene are sisters separated at birth, born from different mothers but will surely be friends forever.
